Dear Readers:

Beginning today, we’re making some changes in the Sunday Tribune.

The Business and Career Builder sections are being combined. All of the local business news content will remain, although we will reduce the Wall Street Journal personal finance content by one page.

The Sunday Central Coast Living section is returning to its original format—the larger broadsheet pages. You’ll find the Sunday Classifieds section behind it.

What’s driving the changes? Like most businesses, we’re facing steep increases in our costs, notably paper, gasoline and medical insurance.

These section changes enable us to eliminate some costly advance press runs and more sensibly combine some content. For example, the entertainment page—with the New York Times crossword —and comic strip Opus, which have been appearing in Sports on Sunday, will now appear in Central Coast Living.

As always, we appreciate your readership and understanding.
