A man was injured Saturday when a gun exploded in his face, said sheriff’s officials.
Ronald Boswell was taken to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital around 2:30 p.m. from Rock Front Ranch where the accident happened, said sheriff’s officials.
Details of how the accident happened or the extent of Boswell’s injuries were unknown Saturday evening, said sheriff’s officials.
A hospital official said Boswell would be released after being treated.
The explosion occurred in San Luis Obispo County just off Highway 166 between Santa Maria and New Cuyama.
