Y ou may have been his classmate in Morro Bay; played ball with him; may have purchased your flooring from him; he may have D. J.’d your wedding; or you may have sat next to him at church. You know how great he is.
Al Silva has a wonderful life and has been blessed with a beautiful family. The past few years he has spent fighting for his life, battling against prostate cancer. It’s been bittersweet. It’s been devastating to his body, but he and his family have grown from this experience.
Al and his wife, Sheril, have pushed forward with undying fortitude in this battle. There is no medicine as powerful or as effective as the love and support they give one another.
This winter Al was weak and in agonizing pain. His prostate serum antigen was 588. Al thought he was going to lose his battle.
He learned of integrative cancer treatment. For the next two months, he received conventional treatment combined with integrative treatment and vaccines while living in Washington.
Al returned home with a prostate serum antigen of 232. He was walking, smiling, required less pain medication and he had hope again.
His medical insurance does not cover the integrative treatment and vaccines. It is quite costly. Family and friends have begun fundraisers to help him with these expenses. On Sunday, there will be a barbecue for Al.
